SPRING SHOW GROUP QUALIFICATIONS
2025-2026 SEASON
Learn to Skate Groups:
1. Lesson groups (Snow Plow Sam Group through Free Skate 2 Group and High School Basic Skills Group) are based on the skill level the skater is at in January. These groups include skaters that:
a. Participate in Basic Skills/Low Free Skate group lessons and/or
b. Participate in private lessons and are skating at a basic skill level.
2. Private lesson groups are for any skater that participated in private lessons. Skaters in these groups are grouped together by the coaches based on their skill levels.
Advanced Groups:
Advanced Show Group Requirements for 2025-2026 Season
Advanced A
- Test Level: Bronze Singles (Juvenile Freeskate) OR Silver Skating Skills (Novice MIF) passed
- Minimum three hour of private ice time per week
- 3 Advanced events (testing and/or competition)
Advanced B
- Test Level: Pre- Bronze Singles ( Pre-Juv Freeskate) OR Bronze Skating Skills (Juvenile MIF) passed
- Minimum two hours of private ice time per week
- 2 Advanced events (testing and/or competition)
Advanced C
- Test Level: Preliminary Singles (Preliminary freeskate) OR Preliminary SS (Preliminary MIF) Passed
- Minimum 1 and half hours of private ice time per week
- 2 Advanced Events (testing and/or competition)
Advanced D
- Test Level: No test level requirements.
- Minimum one hour of private ice time per week
- 1-2 advanced events (testing and/or competition)
****these are guidelines: advanced show groups are at the discretion of the coaches
****special consideration for Dance test level will be used
****All requirements must be met by February 1st 2026
Soloists, features, spotlights, duets ect.
Will be determined based off number of skaters qualifying for each advanced group.
